ReStore ReDo

Good finds can be found in Newburgh. This project comes from Newburgh’s Habitat for Humanity ReStore. This mirror bought for $25 was given a fresh coat of paint, and hung in a new space. Even better, all proceeds from sales go directly towards Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh’s house construction program. So you can feel good about your purchase as well. The ReStore has a lot of other great items, like an entire kitchen cabinet set for $700. This is perfect for any of you out there restoring old homes that need new kitchens.

There was also a great article in the THR about buying at the ReStore. The article mentioned that, “to date, the ReStore has raised more than $145,000 for their affiliate, and it has diverted more than 99 tons of materials from landfills. This really is a neat way to recycle décor, and people can bring in their own items to donate for sale as well.” Anything you could possibly need to restore, upgrade, or furnish your home can be found at the ReStore at deep discounts. And everyday there is something new. So stop by frequently.

Before you throw away those old window or door frames, or anything else that could be reused, stop by the ReStore first to donate it away!
