This home at 21 Johnes Street just became my new favorite obsession for $49,000. There are no interior photos but the realtors did a good job of sprucing up the outside. Even the patio area in the backyard looks quaint with it’s little awning. Other pictures show that the backyard faces a factory building. The block looks like it was home to manufacturing in it’s day. Currently it’s just a few feet away from RIM Plumbing Supply. If anybody gets a peek inside let us know what it’s like! It has undergone quite the transformation since the days the West Shore Train Station was an abandoned eyesore on Newburgh’s waterfront. The renovated space has been empty for years since the […]

Love the arched brickwork around the windows! And the cornice in the front is a living testament of a lost craftsmanship that can sadly only be appreciated today. A true work of art in all it’s simplicities.
Hi Cher, Thanks for highlighting our home! This is a wonderful home that needs a full interior renovation. Still with many original details such as wide plank wood floors, high ceilings, solid structure and new roof. The architectural plans, which are included with the home have been made a top hudson valley architect who specializes in historic renovations.
Also, we love the block as it’s strongly owner occupied, quiet and enhanced by the Foundry Condos just a block away. If anyone has any questions please contact me at meiganne@hotmail.com or our realtor George K., 845-913-8247.
Thanks for that extra info Meiganne. I hope you find someone soon!
