Circle the date of April 15th on your calendar! That’s when Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site, in Newburgh, begins its 161st season as the first historic site in the nation. The Hasbrouck House, used by General and Mrs. Washington during the last sixteen and a half months of the Revolutionary War, will be open Wednesday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Along with tours of the Headquarters a daily topical talk is offered. Presentations may deal with 18th Century Medicine and Dentistry and the Badge of Military Merit, to name a few. And keep watching for our special programs and events.
