The auction of distressed properties in Newburgh happened about 2 weeks ago now, and some of you might be wondering what were the results. The Mid Hudson News reported that the city hoped to make $300k and actually made $500k from the auction. “Forty something” properties were sold out of the 50. Are the buyers really going to developed these distressed properties? Only time will tell.
