Join us for a wine and cheese reception for the opening of the exhibit “Face to Face,” assemblages by Bill Yost on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 5-7pm in the CenterArts Gallery of Kaplan Hall. This unique exhibit consists of over thirty three-dimensional portraits approximately 14″ X 17″ X 5′ in size and made of wood, plastic, collage, encaustic, paint, epoxy, nails, screws and paraphernalia found in the most unlikely of places.

The exhibit will be open from Thursday, November 3, 2011 until Friday, December 9, 2011. Exhibit hours are as follows:  11am – 2pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 12pm – 4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Bill Yost served as the Cultural Arts Director of the United State Military Academy at West Point from 1976-2006. He is the retired Executive/Artistic Director of The Eisenhower Hall Theatre, responsible for overall management of one of America’s largest performing arts venues, as well as a producer, presenter and curator of internationally recognized artists. He is a member of The League of American Theaters and Producers, the International Society of Performing Arts Administrators, a docent of the Storm King Art Center, and a past Tony voter. His honors include numerous performance awards from the United State Military Academy, a White House Commendation Award, and a Meritorious Service Award from the Department of the Army, U.S. Department of Defense. He has contributed toward and guest lectured on a variety of art and theater subjects throughout the United States and abroad, and his work has been exhibited widely and is included in academic, corporate and private collections.
