New York Heritage Weekend at Washington’s Headquarters

At Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site you’re invited to take a tour back in time at General Washington’s Headquarters in Newburgh, on May 19th and May 20th. Tour times are 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, both days. Admission for this Special Event First Person program is $5.00 per person, children 6 and under are free. Reservations are required.

On Saturday, May 19th , when “A Tradesman Visits Headquarters”  you will tour with Major Andrew Billings, of the Continental Army.

On Sunday, May 20th, “Secrets Abound” during a tour with Jacqueline, a New York-based French pastry shop owner who spies for the continental Army.

Regular tours for both days are also being offered beginning at 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, with the last tour starting at 4:30 PM and are offered every half hour. Regular tours will not be given at 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM either day, while the Special Event First Person Program is being offered. Admission is $4.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors/students and children 12 and under are free.
