3 Plays: The Nostalgia Cure, Lying Naked and Good Pictures
The RRP is moving towards it’s first traditional regional theater season in the Fall of 2012. To get a jump start, their spring season includes a culminating event that will:
– Utilize all of their Playwright’s in residence.
– Be fully produced with sets, costumes, and lights.
– Create an opportunity to build their cache of local actors, designers, directors who,
– Showcase the space in a unique and artistically fulfilling way.
With all of these elements in mind they have conceived this One Act Festival. It will include 1 traditional length 1 act each from Alex Goldberg and Ashlin Halfnight and 2 shorts from Louise Schwarz. The festival will utilize 7 actors and each play will take place in a different corner of the theater with the audience turning their chairs after each play.”
