Resident Advisory Council to the Land Bank

As you may know, New York State recently passed legislation to create land banks in the State of New York.  Land banks have been used in different states nationwide to stabilize former industrial cities and address property abandonment.  The City of Newburgh is the only land bank in New York State authorized to a city exclusively.

Equally unique is the creation of a resident advisory council to the Land Bank.  If you are interested in being a part of this advisory group, send in your letter of interest to Ms. Elizabeth Evans at City Hall via email at eevans@cityofnewburgh-ny.gov by deadline of August 1, 2012.
