The Green & Clean Committee of the City of Newburgh and the Historical Society, as well as some other interested parties are uniting with the hopes of creating a vehicle that will promote and recognize gardening, gardeners and gardens within our beautiful city.  It is the hope that this will inspire and empower others (even inexperienced gardeners) to beautify their front porches, yards and lives.  So many other benefits will manifest as people begin to pick up their trowels and discover the power of soil.
