The Newburgh Community Land Bank will be teaming up with the City of Newburgh to identify vacant properties to create an online registry. There will be a meeting March 9th at 10am at 83 Broadway, 3rd floor. Volunteers are needed to survey a block or two in their neighborhood verify the properties listed as well as record any properties that may need to be added. This is for the entire City of Newburgh, not just areas under the control of the Land Bank.

Why volunteers? We pay an entire staff in the Codes Department comfortable salaries to do just this kind of work.
Good question Michael.
Seems that’s not easy pay to Codes Department
