Somewhere around 750 South Street – there is a bunch of tree clearing going on revealing a huge property. Some development is about to start – know anything about it?
There is a sign on the Pierce’s Road gate to the property explaining it. The work we see is an environmental Superfund site cleanup of hazardous waste materials left from the Dupont manufacturing operations there.

That’s good to know, thanks Matthew for sharing, I saw this area being cleared and wondered what was going on as well…..
Hopefully the government came in and got rid of all the toxic dumping that has been there from Dupont and Stauffers. So many people got cancer over the years living close to there.
EPA cleanup of old Stauffer site that Stauffer is paying for
But what is going to be done on this siste after it is supposedly cleaned up? It would have been nice if the neighborhoods around were notified. Where are all the waste products being taken to?
