Press release:

Queen of the Hudson welcomes back three members of the neoLIT Ensemble for an exciting program and world premiere of Katya Mihailova’s “Hit or Miss.”

Katya will join us as the Artist in Residence at Queen of the Hudson.  She will be performing a diverse set of solo piano repertoire and chamber works over the next year.  We hope you can join us for this inaugural performance and for what’s to follow.

We are also excited to announce the arrival of an 1888 Steinway C parlor grand piano, with over seven feet of exceptional sound and a storied past.  We are honored to have this remarkable instrument on permanent loan.

View the full program on neoLIT’s calendar and read about the musicians.

  • Inconspicuous is right! What’s going on in that building?

  • These events organized by David Ludwig are outstanding and a real addition to the cultural scene in Newburgh.

  • The musicians David gets for this series of concerts are deliciously world class. The contrast of the location and the performance come together to make it almost a magical experience. The music is always accessible and interesting and never too long-winded. The addition of a world class Steinway piano will certainly improve upon the concerts of the past. I always walk away regreting I hadn’t convinced more people to share the experience.

  • Really great. Will have to try and see something there. Does that space have a website?

    • Joe, no website, that’s why it’s so inconspicuous! But I can forward you the invite and you can add your email to their evite list.
