This past Sunday the community got together to view artwork done by the children of the Heights Neighborhood. Selected pieces will be made into Public Service Announcement (PSA) banners, which will be hung on utility poles in the Heights neighborhood. The purpose of this project is to educate the community about social topics, such as good health habits, neighborhood safety and neighborhood beautification.
Rita Tantillo (right) and Ellen Fillo (center) of the Heights co-wrote the grant and Rita and Victor Mirabelli (left) organized the arts education program.
