We just found out from Dispatches from Newburgh that a sci-fi thriller has just wrapped up 5 weeks worth of filming in the City of Newburgh called The App. It is being described as “Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Tell Tale Heart” in the digital age as it merges the utopic scientific advancement intertwined with a brilliant mind’s descent into madness.” The App was produced by Rumpus Room Productions and featured some familiar faces from actors in Pretty Little Liars and The O’Reilly Factor according to Variety.
