Real Estate: 86 Beacon Street $80,000

86 Beacon St Newburgh NY

This house has been on the market for a while, and now is back with a reduced price. If you like the idea of living in the Heights neighborhood, but perhaps not in a rowhome, this might be a nice compromise. While the house is small, there is a proper driveway and garage for those of you that want a more suburban touch to your home. The listing also mentions the low taxes, and although the price of the house is attractive there are no photos of the kitchen so be prepared. For more details see below.

  • Looks nicely kept. the Newburgh Heights Association would love to greet some new neighbors…

  • Why does the listing–and Zillow– refer to this property as being in the TOWN of Newburgh? Folks, which is it–The Heights in the City or is it in the town of Newburgh?

  • It’s the Heights. (What makes you trust everything on Zillow. No one edits the internet…I have found Zillow to have outdated, incorrect information many times..!)

    • Thanks, Hannah! Would that realtors (at least the ones listed here) would correct their own listings and not leave it to the enlightened citizens of Newburgh to do their work. Besides the usual Zillow mistakes, the real estate listing calls this property a “ranch” when clearly there is a second floor in the photo.. As for the misspellings (“collage” for “college”, and on..) and grammatical errors, do these realtors realize how shoddy and inept it makes them and their representation of the property look?
