Seeing that Ritz marquee in the background brings to mind the Bardavon across the river. I’ve seen some great performances there, so having the Ritz develop into a similar venue along with Alice’s next door would be a winner. The ‘Burgh has to get that reallocation thingy going, enough with the casino delusions and big brother build up, time’s a wasting…tick tock…
Wasn’t aware 2 Alices was opening so close to liberty st… that makes 3 coffee shops within almost arms reach of each other….
Studies show coffee is a necessary and unique slice in changing any city neighborhood. So three seems to be a good number, and they all offer something different. Also, 2 Alices will be a late evening/night venue. So they will also get a different crowd.
