Habitat for Humanity Seeks Qualified Applicants

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh seeks qualified applicants for its homeownership program. To find out more, applicants are encouraged to attend an orientation session to be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Habitat Newburgh’s headquarters located at 125 Washington Street in the City of Newburgh. 10 AM English session and 12 PM Spanish session. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

In addition to their traditional homeownership program, they are also looking for families that would qualify for a handicapped-accessible house or the following specific programs:

Veterans Build: If you or a member of your household is a US veteran, you may qualify for our Veteran Build homeownership program. Our current Veterans Build house is handicapped-accessible.

Live/Work Housing: (Pictured Above) This program combines residential living space with business space for local entrepreneurs. If you are interested in this type of living/working arrangement and have an existing or a plan for a small/micro business, you may qualify for this program.
