Last year I shared this property as a Rescue Me house. Now, it is officially on the market. I’m not exactly sure what happened to make it vacant for so long. It might have been a fire. This house is located just a walk away from the waterfront, Brewery, Washington’s Headquarters and Liberty Street.

I looked into this property awhile back and found it sits on a 1/8 acre that reaches to William St.. However, the adjoining land on S. Colden St. is a city owned one acre plot that extends down about 3/4s of the way to Renwick. According to the new zoning, this area is part of the form based ‘Downtown’ district with medium density potential. However, the ‘Historic District Overlay’, along with its requirements, pointedly circumvents the City’s property on S.Colden. One can speculate as to what the plans are for this property if any.
