Go ahead, get rid of the MID, I dare ya. You’ll see RE prices values correct in a real sense and along with them municipal revenues. The MID is baked into the ‘system’, as are all subsidizes. It’s 2017 and we’re back to pimping assessment values as a wealth indicator. Last I checked my new assessment transferred money from my pocket to the city’s, leaving me less to spend on “Main Street”. See how that works.
