  • So gentrification in the schools is welcomed by the same communities that resist it overall? Apparently the “huge, positive impact” of whiteness is discretionary, with limitations on desaturating the overall hue. BS. This article has the under tones of a failing public school system calling card. Charter schools are not to be equated with private schools. It takes a lot more “privilege”, aka $’s, to send ones child to the latter. I didn’t read any of the “reverse” segregation crowd mention the fact that the people exerting their free will to choose and pay for a private school are simultaneously “investing in” the public system regardless. Progressive think: pose “good parenting” as being policy driven. Fail.
