A Cure for Cabin Fever

Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site is opening its doors for extra hours during winter break. Visit for “A Cure for Cabin Fever,” December 28th through December 31st, 11 AM until 3 PM each day. Take a tour through the seasonally decorated Headquarters, and hear about the Washingtons’ stay in the Hasbrouck House, which included the final winter of the Revolutionary War.
Explore the Museum, featuring the multi award-winning exhibit,Unpacked&Rediscovered: Selections from Washington’s Headquarters’ Collection, which houses over 1,300 artifacts. Finish off your visit creating a different take-home craft each day, free with Museum admission. The crafts are:
Wednesday, December 28th – Create Your Own Bookplate
Thursday, December 29th – Make A Whirligig
Friday, December 30th – Candle Dipping
Saturday, December 31st – Make Your Own Badge of Military Merit
