Awesome Newburgh Foundation awards monthly micro-grants to creative projects in Newburgh!

On Sunday, March 17, 2019, we are hosting a pitch party where anyone can pitch a project idea. This time around, the public will VOTE FOR THE WINNER of $1,000. The event is free and the winner will be announced that evening.

Come to pitch an idea, cheer your friends and neighbors and meet past grantees and trustees. Food, music & drinks will be served. Stay tuned for a special program announcements!

Wanna pitch an idea? There is a two step process:

First, submit your project idea using this Google Form: http://bit.ly/awesomepitchpartyapp . Deadline for submission is Monday, March 4, 2019. Remember, projects should benefit and take place in Newburgh.

Second, prepare a three-minute pitch that you’ll deliver to a live audience. Easiest is if you can create a powerpoint presentation with five slides.

Awesome Newburgh is offering coaching and feedback on your pitch. If you are selected and interested in signing up, we will host a session on Sunday, March 10 at 1pm at the Newburgh Free Library’s Auditorium.
