Ebenezer, a new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic
A Christmas Carol by local playwright, producer and director, Edward Gibbons-Brown, will premiere at Safe Harbors of the Hudson’s Lobby at the Ritz Theater Friday, December 13, through Sunday, December 15, 2013.

Presented by Hatmaker’s Attic Productions, this new adaptation takes a closer look at one of the greatest characters in literature in a bare-bones re-imagining of Dickens’ beloved tale. Ebenezer is A Christmas Carol as it has never been seen before: No frills, thrills, or chills, just a question: Who is Ebenezer Scrooge?

Performances of Ebenezer take place December 13 at 8 p.m., December 14 at 8 p.m. and December 15 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20.00, $15 for children ages 12 and under and older adults age 65+ and may be purchased online at www.HatmakersAttic.org. Tickets for college students with valid I.D. are $10 at the door.
