Jazz at Atlas is proud to present the first big band as part of its live music series, the fiery artistry and lionhearted bravado of Matt Lavelle and The 12 Houses Orchestra. This daring ensemble features many leading lights of the most forward-thinking wing of NYC jazz, while also boasting some of the most eclectic instrumentation of any big band playing today. This performance will also mark the first appearance in the Orchestra by the acclaimed violinist and long-time member of the legendary Cecil Taylor Unit, Ramsey Ameen. For their Jazz at Atlas concert, the 12 Houses Orchestra lineup will include:
