The Dream Center would like to create a space where the artist can come express themselves. This open mic night is ALL about the poets. We want all POETS or aspiring writers to come out and share their pieces with an energetic crowd.

We ask that everyone who wants to perform meet at The Dream Center at 6:30 to sign up. The Show will start at 7 pm and will end at 9 pm on the dot.

We have Jovan O’Neal and Candace Nicholas hosting the event.
Both hosts are gifted poets born in raised in Newburgh, New York.
They share a common goal which is to cultivate more writers in their community. They hope to use this event to start the process of prepping people for their writing class.

With Jovan and Candace being youth they are hoping to reach the younger crowd. Ages 16 to 25. However, anyone is indeed welcome! Please tell a friend or tag someone you know that may be interested!
