Path Through History Weekends @ WHQ
June 14, 2014 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm$4
Come to Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site during the Path Through History Weekends for two glimpses of what occurred during our country’s Revolutionary War.
On Saturday, June 14th, join us for After Yorktown: The Path to Newburgh, which will touch upon the little-known events that occurred after the well-known Siege of Yorktown and how this paved the path to Newburgh, New York for the Continental Army, leading to the Hasbrouck farmhouse – General Washington’s Headquarters.
The Path Through History Program showcases the Empire State’s rich history and cultural heritage. Washington’s Headquarters is a New York State gem in its crown of historic landmarks. Come to these presentations, take a tour of the historic Headquarters used by General and Mrs. Washington during the last months of the Revolutionary War, and also visit the multi-award winning exhibit “Unpacked & Rediscovered: Selections from Washington’s Headquarters’ Collection.”
