Creating and visualizing an idea is key to spreading knowledge throughout the whole world. A story can connect millions of people simply by using a plot or a message. When an author or writer crafts their interpretation of a certain perspective they can illuminate the minds and hearts locally and globally. That is our goal at The Dream Center!

This month’s Mic Night will be centered around storytelling! We invite published and aspiring authors, writers, and poets to come out and share their amazing pieces of work with us! The Dream Center encourages the city to spread the word as we raise our attention to the writing artist locally and globally!

The Story Telling Mic Night will also be the book release and signing of Candace Nicholas’, “Life Goes On! At the age of 19, Candace Nicholas wrote her first book. Two years later, just recently, she went on to publish it! Life Goes On is a book of poems about individuals who had to push through whatever Life circumstances they faced to chase everything they have ever wanted and desired! Its starts with love and dream chasing! Life Goes On has something for everyone because as humans we are all on this journey together, but not really.
