Hello musicians, actors, artists, and community makers!
We are in the final stages of designing a new REHEARSAL STUDIO & WORK SPACE that will be located within one block of the Broadway & Liberty St intersection in downtown Newburgh, NY.
We want this space to work for LOCAL players and artists, so we’re reaching out to YOU to help us design the best quality and most usable space that we can.
We want to make a space that is both functional and inviting, and we hope that the rehearsal space can become a place where musicians, actors, and artists can gather to rehearse, as well as put on house shows and events.
HERE is a link to a survey that will ask you some questions about what properties and services you’d like in a rehearsal space. It has 3 questions and should take less than 5 minutes to complete. Alternatively, you can leave us comments below, or contact us directly.
We really appreciate feedback and community input into this project.
If you’re interested in learning more about this project in person, let’s meet up!

We are getting some quotes from different contractors to get our slate roof fixed. I was wondering whether anyone here had work done by Gary Curtis (Strictly Roofing)?
So we moved to Newburgh several months ago, and we’re about to start renovating our kitchen. We’re looking for someone to design and coordinate the process. It’s not a gut renovation. We don’t need cabinets built, just an island. We’re hoping to salvage the floors and move a few things around.
Any suggestions for local businesses we should contact?
We’re looking to have brick walls in our basement sand blasted. About 1000 sq. ft. of wall space, give or take. Contractors ? Suggestions ? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Newburgh has so many delicious restaurants. I suggest that we do a first ever Newburgh Community day. It should start with a 5K and at the finish line have all the local restaurants or vendors selling their products like a huge block party.
I am interested in discovering Newburgh and would like to stay in town a few days. I am looking for hotels and or B&Bs. Interested in a tour, checking out the new businesses and real estate. Any help / recommendations?
I’m coming up from the city this Saturday to check out some of the artists participating in the open studio tour. Any recommendations of favorite artists to check out?
