Dozers plowed forward but development didn't?

The dozers plowed their way through back then to make way for development of the downtown and riverfront area of Newburgh. All that happened was that one might as well say, a storm blew in and destroyed all the downtown and riverfront areas. There would be plans to rebuild a better, newer part of Newburgh. But as we all know, still, is that nothing really happened at all. The little that was done was half (m)assed and flying way below where it once was on that flag pole(so to speak). Urban Renewal Project was a crock and money must have been made for all of those responsible for the demise of Lower Newburgh. Reparations should be made to the city and the remaining survivors who were displaced back then from this fiasco. Reparation. It was intentional and for all the wrong reasons by the wrong people for this to have happened. I’m sorry that this is more of a rant than anything positive as others may post ideas of how Newburgh is coming back again. Do you see it? I sure know what I see now!! The government should fix what they f–reaked up. ehm.
