There are two brand new apartments available to rent at 13 Chambers Street from the Newburgh Community Land Bank. This is a street that has been seeing a lot of development from Habitat, the Land Bank and neighbors. The architect who designed these apartments will have his office on the first floor and has done an amazing restoration of the original storefront. Are we at the end of July already?! Newburgh Last Satudays are back again. This is a day when businesses stay open later and special events happen to encourage tourism and economic development in the City of Newburgh. For all the events go to the fanpage.
One event that will be fun for the whole family is the Kalmar Nyckel that will be docked at the Newburgh waterfront from July 24-26. For more details go to the Newburgh events calendar.
A new option is coming to the waterfront with the addition of Taco Ticos, located at 14 Front Street right next to Billy Joe’s. They are holding a contest to have their logo redesigned. If interested, email tacoticosonthehudson15@gmail.com. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be this Friday, July 24 at 12:00pm.
