The Gomez family settled in the northern part of Newburgh in the early 18th century. A talk titled, "Gomez Mill House: An International Treasure," will look into the impact this family had on the city, town, and then broader environs. The presenter Richie Rosencrans is the Programs Coordinator at Gomez Mill House Historic Site. The talk takes place at the Newburgh Heritage Center. Admission is $5 per person and free to members.
