Anniversary of the End of Prohibition Party!
December 5, 2014 is the 81st Anniversary of the End of Prohibition. On December 5, 1933, the 21st Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment of the US Constitution, which mandated the nationwide Prohibition on the sale of alcohol. The 18th Amendment went into effect on January 20, 1920, and the legal sale of alcohol was not permitted for thirteen long years.
