On Saturday, July 6th, the Newburgh Historical Society will take its guests down through the beautiful Hudson Highlands aboard the Pride of the Hudson to enjoy the annual West Point fireworks show.

During the journey, a broadcast narration will describe sights along the shore. Imagine the journey once upon a time as you follow a 19th century tourist map.

The West Point Band will play its Independence Day concert on the bluff above the river, and our boat will anchor just below Trophy Point, where the fireworks will explode above us. Reservations are required.

Note: We will not be serving food and drinks, but the boat’s bar will open, including snacks like hot dogs and chips & cheese.
