Here’s an opportunity to learn more about the fish present in the Quassaick Creek and how they are restricted by existing dams.
October 1, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, HUDSON RIVER UNDAMMED, a guided field exploration and discussion on dams and migratory fish present in the Quassaick Creek presented by SUNY-ESF (College of Environmental Science and Forestry) researchers and NYS DEC experts. There will be an electro fishing demonstration with fish species ID.
