$20

Join violinist Jesse Mills and pianist Rieko Aizawa as they present a virtual concert Nov. 15 at 8 pm at the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon.
The concert is the fourth and last in the fall ALIVEmusica series, a collaboration of Hudson Valley music groups to bring live music to its audiences in response to the pandemic.
The program was organized by the Howland Chamber Music Circle. Co-presenters are Newburgh Chamber Music, the Chapel Restoration in Cold Spring, the Pawling Concert Series, and WMHT-FM classical radio.
Mills and Aizawa are founding members of the Horszowski Trio and the Duo Prism ensemble. They perform throughout the U.S. and Canada and are on the faculty of the Longy School of Music at Bard College. In 1999, Mills won the Hudson Valley Philharmonic String Competition.
Their Nov. 15 program will feature a mix of the classical and contemporary, including Beethoven’s Sonata No. 10, Ravel’s Sonata No. 2, and works by Olivier Messiaen and Paul Chihara.
The concert can be accessed through the co-presenters’ web sites.
