Hello Newburgh! I hope that you will join me for the third informal brainstorming session at Caffe Macchiato (99 Liberty St.) next Thursday, December 1st from 5-6 pm.

We had our second meeting on November 3rd, 2016. We were incredibly fortunate to have two of our fabulous council members, Genie Abrams and Karen Mejia and our esteemed mayor Judy Kennedy join us for a very productive meeting.

I hope you can join us for our third Navigating Newburgh meeting.

We are gathering information about available tax credits, grants and loans to help people buy and renovate a home in Newburgh to present at this meeting. Erin Cousins has graciously agreed to help start a conversation about Federal and State tax credits for qualifying renovations of buildings located in Historic Newburgh. Erin worked at The Land Bank most recently. She is a mother of two and cares deeply about helping people find housing.

We are starting a blog for these meetings to make it easier to share the information with everyone who is interested, and not just people on our mailing list. That blog can be found here.
