Pianist-composer Michael Brown, winner of the 2018 Emerging Artist Award from Lincoln Center, will perform in a livestream presentation Oct. 11 at 8 pm. His program will include works by Haydn, Beethoven, Scriabin, Debussy and Ravel. He will also perform his own “Breakup Etude for the Right Hand Alone,” a world premiere.
The concert is part of ALIVEmusica, a collaborative series of concerts that brings live music to audiences in a virtual setting. The four concerts are co-presented by Newburgh Chamber Music, the Howland Chamber Music Circle, and other Hudson Valley groups.
