Looking for a Rental

Hi All,

I’m looking for a rental for myself and my 2.5 year old son, which is in a good pedestrian neighborhood with easy access to ferry, parks, restaurants. Im open to historical homes or open space lofts.

Are there good daycare/schools for 2-3 year olds in the area or do parents take their children to Beacon?

Also, does anyone know the cost of train pass to NYC?

Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks so much.

Kristen

The best approach is to come and spend a weekend and network. There are airbnb options and from there, it would be easier to check neighborhoods like the Washington HQ area on Liberty St. Other rental options may include the waterfront condos, as people rent those out at times.

The metro north train pass should be listed on their website. I think it is upwards of 400. at this time.

The best daycare information will come from other parents…so spending a weekend ‘living’ in Newburgh will be your best bet..especially if you talk to some of the cafe and shop owners.
