Liberty Street Corridor Forum

March 2, 2017 - March 3, 2017

Free

There is a renewed sense of optimism and a palpable, positive momentum toward the revitalization of the City of Newburgh. In the Summer of 2016, Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress, in collaboration with the Orange County Partnership, SUNY Orange and the City of Newburgh Planning Department, introduced the designation of a Creative Neighborhood. The mission of the Creative Neighborhood is to establish a dynamic environment to facilitate and foster the growth of socially responsible, entrepreneurial, businesses complemented by dynamic residential and community space.

No one knows the neighborhood better than those that work here – that is why your opinions, visions and creative input is important to continue and propel the positive momentum and revitalization in the neighborhood. In an effort to further the Newburgh Creative Neighborhood – we are convening and facilitating a forum to obtain feedback from the business owners in the neighborhood South of Broadway along the Liberty Street Corridor. This is an essential element to continue the efforts within the mission statement and goals of the Newburgh Creative Neighborhood.  We will also be discussing potential plans for new opportunities at SUNY Orange.

Please RSVP to this email for one of the sessions. Thank you!
