Conversation with Police Chief Solomon:
Please join me Friday, October 26th for a friendly conversation with Police Chief Doug Solomon. Meeting will start at 6pm in the multipurpose room at Safe Harbors.

As you can well imagine controlling and further lowering crime in NB is one of the most critical functions in the city. The NB Police force needs our support, compassion, and understanding as much as we need theirs.

Chief Solomon graduated from Monticello High School and then from Orange County Community College. Solomon served with the Monticello Police Dept for 24 years, ten as Chief of Police. He went on to serve as chief of Police for the city of Beacon for six years. Police Chief Solomon has been married to his wife, Tara, for 26 years. They have two children, Talia and Tyler.
I welcome this opportunity to get to know our new Newburgh Police Chief. I look forward to hearing about how we are performing currently, where the Chief would like to see us and how we are going to get there.
