The Newburgh Historical Society at 189 Montgomery Street is taking part in Newburgh’s Annual Historic District Yard Sale on May 2nd(rain date, May 3). Many items from the Society’s Gift Shop will be deeply discounted. Between 9 A.M. and 4 P.M. journey down Grand and Montgomery Streets and visit other homeowners participating in this sale. You may find clothes, furniture, china, electronics, tools, antiques, household goods, books, plants, and more. While there, for a $5 admission fee, visitors are welcome to take a tour of the historic Captain David Crawford House and hear what stories its furnishings collection may tell about Newburgh’s history. Members may always participate for free. View the 2015 Artist’s Choice Exhibition showcasing works by our supportive community of artists.
