A “Meet the Candidates Night” will be held in the Newburgh Free Library’s upstairs Auditorium. The moderator will be Carl Aiello, editor of the Mid-Hudson Times. Every candidate running for public office in the City of Newburgh will be given an opportunity make a five minute statement followed by written questions from the audience. The questions will be reviewed so the same question doesn’t get asked more than once. This is free event, allowing the public to get to know the candidates and their platforms before the upcoming primaries and general election.
