This workshop’s lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises will introduce students to the benefits of lime-based plaster, basic surface preparation, and simple methods for performing repairs to historic plaster walls. The workshop is concurrent with the Lime Mortar Workshop. Participants of both classes will meet to learn mutually relevant information, then split for workshop-specific, hands-on practicum.

The class will be taught by paint experts and scholars, including Tina Reichenbach of Richbrook Conservation. The workshop will include lectures and onsite demonstrations.
