Coming Soon: Newburgh Vintage Emporium 11,000 sq ft

We are super excited about the new 11,000 sq ft Newburgh Vintage Emporium! It is located just a few feet over the city/town border into the Town of Newburgh at 5006 Route 9W but, this will greatly benefit the entire area by bringing people to one of the largest antique centers in Orange County. For all of you looking to decorate your new Newburgh homes that you are renovating, this would be an ideal place to find one-of-a-kind treasures.

Another cool detail about the Newburgh Vintage Emporium will be a 1948 restored Pullman Train Car used as a vintage inspired drive-up coffee shop. Famous photojournalist David Burnett is opening a gallery in the City of Newburgh! It is called Gallery Schubes. He will be showing about 70 photographs, taken over his career as a Time-Life photojournalist from JFK to Obama, 8 Olympics, and stories from Iran to Vietnam.

Yes Lander Street is scary, but this is a very handsome building that I have been admiring for quite some time now. Unfortunately there are no interior photos. However, this building is located just 1 block north of Broadway and around the corner from Robert Fontaine’s carriage house that he has rehabbed. Also, Chambers Street is seeing some nice momentum. It looks like at one time these were store fronts that have now been converted to living space. Anybody else know details about this building?

The yellow exterior of this home looks quite nice against the back drop of autumn foliage. This property is west of 9W and north of Broadway. Many homes here were built in the 1920’s and probably 1930’s. Here you can have a driveway and a really large backyard. The home looks sounds and stable enough for a new family to come in and put their stamp on the home. Oh, and if you don’t love pink carpet, you are going to have to love ripping it up. There’s a ton of it in this home. The listing says there is hardwood underneath.
