PhotoStudio-2a

It’s no secret that Atlas Industries is one of the best things to happen to the Liberty/Spring Street area. I have posted quite a few times about their intentions to rent out studio spaces, and now they have created a website just for that. Currently the site shows 9 studio spaces and 2 storage spaces for rent. They vary in size and you must contact them directly for price information. It’s an amazing raw and urban space with owners that are very forward thinking about Newburgh’s future. Last September they made space available for the Newburgh Open Studios Tour, exemplifying the building’s potential. They already have a few tenants doing cool things like art, music, photography and sculpting. Later this year they will hopefully open a new art gallery. Their Instagram profile shows tons more fun stuff.

If you think this is some place that you would like to rent space, contact them at:

Ant De Fria has been busy spending countless hours colorizing some of our favorite photos of historic Newburgh. It certainly gives new live to these photos. He has also spent time restoring the Battle of Newburgh video from 1961, which is another great way to see parts of Newburgh that are no longer in existence.

246 Carpenter Ave Newburgh NY

From the photos, this looks like a lovely home in the north end of the City of Newburgh. Everything looks fresh or nicely updated. The carpet appears to be well maintained, but if it’s not your style there might even be hardwood floors underneath. The retro bathroom with the original tile looks charming. You might want to check out the alley/driveway to the right of the property to see if you don’t mind being so close to your neighbors.
