Newburgh Ferry Terminal, 1909

This is a great photo I found from Hudson River Valley Heritage. The photo is of the Newburgh Ferry Terminal office. It was located at the tip of water street. The information listed shows that the structure was built in 1899, but razed in the 1970’s during Newburgh’s “urban renewal” project. This is really a shame because had this structure been around today it would have made a great historical terminal for the current ferry.
