Our sponsor, the Newburgh Art Supply store on Liberty Street is packing up their sign and getting ready to move….around the corner. After being open for 2 years they have outgrown their space, and will now be in a larger space at 5 Grand Street. The official move will start on Sunday, so you will have a chance to visit the old store till then.
They will be open for business on Monday, Nov. 8. A grand opening celebration will be scheduled in the spring of 2011. Hours of operation will remain the same: Monday through Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. -6 p.m.
In their new building, they are planning to offer events that will inspire more people to get involved in the arts. There will be a demonstration room where products will be demonstrated. The shop’s mission embraces the spirit of sustainability by offering artists a cost-effective and convenient place to buy supplies. The Palatine Shop will be making the move with them too.

Now for the million dollar question…what business can we get to fill the great space?! It’s prime Newburgh real estate, directly in front of Washington’s Headquarters. Hopefully I can get in to take some pictures and feature the space on a “Real Estate” post.
