SUNY Orange Community College is slated to open up for the 2011 Spring semester. I just passed by and snapped some photos to show the progress that’s going on. The college is really looking like it’s coming together. The video rendering really makes sense now! It will be really interesting when this site is done!

where in Newburgh is this college located?…it’s a beautiful campus!!!
It’s at the corner of Grand and 1st Street. Check it out on Google
maps satellite, there is just a parking lot there, but what you see in the
pics now is the current state.
I live in Newburgh and have no idea where this is unless it is near robinson Avenue on the north side where you can’t drive through
Click on the link to see. This is where the parking lot was on the map. They haven’t updated it yet.

Gerri I think it’s down by the Social Security office at least you can see it from there
Thanks Diane ….I had an idea it might be there by the top of the building in the back but really wasn’t sure…
It’s right on Grand Street across the street from St. Patrick’s church.
looks great – I also always thought the library location can’t be beat… went there to study a lot but always ended up daydreaming and watching the Hudson River
It’s going to be awesome when it’s done. I’m very excited about it! Check out the video rendering to get a real feel for what it will be like
Can you imagine what the immediate area would look like, as Newburgh’s centre, with this gorgeous new addition along with a restored Dutch Reformed church, the courthouse and the restored City Club, with the Elks Club, Masonic Temple and Y?
Definitely Yaakov. Maybe other structures in the immediate area as you mentioned will start to get some attention from the new increase of people trafficking the area. It would be amazing!
