The gorgeous home at 182 Grand Street is at a higher price point but oh so worth a look. It was designed by Frederick Clarke Withers. There are 6 bedrooms, 4 full baths, and 2 half baths. There is also a carriage house, which we all know I have a thing for. It was built in 1860 and has many period details. These were the grand homes of Newburgh’s gilded age, absolutely gorgeous, and kept in good condition. I am salivating! What an amazing, gorgeous house. I wish I had the money to buy it…
Beautiful!
This home was on the Historic Society tour a few years back. I cannot recall correcly if it was a Downing, Vaux or Withers. Sadly someone did some chopping up of part of the house. Still what details remain are beautiful.
Just found out it is a Withers. Tx Brigidanne 🙂
