The Bluff in the Height neighborhood in the City of Newburgh has some of the most gorgeous uninterrupted views of the Hudson River. Slowly but surely, many homes are being fixed up and bought. This home his special because it is designed by Frank E. Estabrook. Unfortunately the opposite side of the building was redesigned with stone, completely altering the porch design.
The visible changes are a paint job of the front stairs, fixing the lattice work under the porch, painting the trim, front door and other woodwork. Maybe one day we can see the left side restored as well. For more history on the home click here.

It does bear a resemblance to the Liberty St. school which he also designed.
